Introduction to shoe making (Slippers and Sandals)
This workshop is an Introductory Level Program that is designed to give people a simple, comprehensive foundation and fun experience in making shoes.
During the workshop you will make a fully lined pair of shoes for your own feet.
Nothing is pre-made or assembled from a kit. You will learn how to start from scratch to design the pattern and create all the individual pieces for your shoes.
Once you have a basic understanding of the principles, techniques and materials of shoe design and construction, you are only limited by your imagination.
Objective of this is youth empowerment, provision of addition source of income
The methods that we teach can be transcended into any sandal/slippers style and size in the future.
Duration: 5 Days (May 2-6, 2016)
Location: Shop 4 Adisa Estate Apo/Durumi 2. Close to Ibeto Hotel.
Price: N15,000.00
Workshop starts from 6 students only so that we can have a more personalize teaching and attention to each students.
Recommended to bring your own Aprons to avoid glue staining on clothes.
